What You'll Learn
This qualification reflects the role of individuals who have a defined and limited range of hospitality operational skills and basic industry knowledge allowing graduates to work in hospitality settings under direct supervision.
This program is designed with an emphasis on knowledge and skills to prepare and serve expresso coffee and employment opportunities in this area.
This qualification provides a pathway to work in various hospitality settings, such as restaurants, hotels, motels, catering operations, clubs, pubs, cafés, and coffee shops.
Course Details
Training Support
- Our trainer will provide direct training and assessment support.
- AGI administration team will provide program support including enrolment and systems assistance.
- Your school will continue to provide comprehensive student support including counseling.
- AGI conducts all marketing and enrolments.
- Third party arrangements use all AGI learning and assessment resources facilitated by their fully qualified trainers under strict quality and compliance framework to provide students the same high level of education standards across Queensland.
Entry Requirements
There are no entry requirements for this qualification, however an interest in hospitality is desirable
Vetis Funding Option
VETiS Funding Option (VET in Schools): NO TRAINING COST for eligible students.
VET in schools (VETiS) is a Nationally Recognised Training program that is available to secondary schools students (Grades 10, 11 and 12) who can explore a career path by enrolling our courses. VETiS programs are VET programs that are delivered in schools with the Certificate 3 Guarantee (VETiS) funding by the Queensland Government covering the training cost of the program.

VETiS Eligibility Criteria
- Australian/New Zealand citizen or permanent resident (or on pathway to permanent recidency) presently residing in Queensland
- Enrolled in a Queensland school, grades 10, 11 and 12.
- Not completed or presently undertaking a program from the Priority Skills list VETiS stream.
