Become an Agent
Every year, students from around the world choose Australia for their education, and most of them get there with the help of an agent they trust. If that’s the work you do, we’d like to hear from you.
Australian Global Institute (AGI) partners with a select network of education agents who represent our courses to prospective international students. We keep the network deliberately small, because we’d rather build genuine working relationships with agents who know our courses well than sign up as many as possible. If that sounds like the kind of partnership you’re after, we’d welcome your application.
Why partner with AGI
- Courses students actually want. Nationally recognised qualifications across technology, aviation, outdoor recreation, and hospitality and management, delivered from our Brisbane campus (RTO Code 31690 | CRICOS Provider Code 03784E).
- A team you can reach. Direct contact with our International Admissions staff — real people who will answer your application, offer and enrolment questions quickly.
- Transparent commissions. Clear structures and payment terms, agreed in writing from the start, with no surprises.
- Marketing support. Course guides, brand assets and approved materials provided to you, so you’re always working from current information.
- A brand you can stand behind. We take our obligations to students seriously, which means you can represent us with confidence.
How we work together
Our partnerships are built on accurate information and clear expectations. We supply current course, fee and entry requirement details, and ask that you represent them as provided, without commitments we haven’t made, and without guarantees of course or visa outcomes. Immigration assistance remains with those qualified to provide it: registered migration agents and Australian legal practitioners. We stay in regular contact with our partners, review how the relationship is working, and address any issues together.
How to apply
- Download the application form — the AGI Education Agent Application Form.
- Complete all sections — 30 items covering your business, your team and your approach to student support, along with the acknowledgements and declaration.
- Attach your documents — a certified copy of your business registration (or equivalent) and your company profile or brochure.
- Submit your application to international@agi.edu.au, with Education Agent Application – [Business Name] in the subject line.
- Review — our team assesses your application, contacts your referees and completes compliance checks. We may invite you to an online meeting to discuss your application further.
- Agreement — successful applicants receive a written agreement. Once executed, we provide access to course materials and agent resources.
Who we're looking for
We work best with agents who share our approach to student care. Strong applicants typically bring:
- A registered business — sole trader, company, partnership or trust — with an ABN, ACN or overseas registration number
- Experience referring international students to Australian education providers, with referees who can speak to your work
- Working knowledge of the ESOS framework, the National Code, CRICOS, and the Australian International Education and Training Agent Code of Ethics
- A team familiar with Australian student visa requirements, including course load and OSHC obligations
- Internal processes that ensure students receive accurate and ethical advice
- No history of misleading recruitment practice, provider sanctions, or unresolved student complaints
